Meeting Location: We will be meeting at the Broomfield Veteran's Museum at our regular meeting time. The event will be a potluck, so please be on the lookout for a sign-up sheet for breakfast at our regular meetings. 

Topic: The Museum will have volunteers to conduct tours of the museum which is currently featuring the 10th Mountain Division.

Topic: City and County of Broomfield Updates

Bio: Guyleen Castriotta was re-elected as Mayor of the City and County of Broomfield in November 2023 and is in her second term. Before running for elected office, she was a network marketing executive and news producer.  In search of more gratifying work, her career transitioned to working in the nonprofit sector for The Downtown Women's Center and Meals on Wheels. Guyleen is a proud member of Broomfield’s 100 Women Who Care and the Women’s Guild for A Precious Child. She formerly served as Vice President of the Board of Directors for Broomfield Early Childhood Council and was a team champion fundraiser for Broomfield FISH. Guyleen lives with her wife, Carolyn, in the Broadlands along with her 94-year old mother-in-law. In her free time, she enjoys music, Pilates, paddle boarding, and taking advantage of all the amazing things Broomfield has to offer.
