On Tuesday, November 28th members and friends of our Rotary Club of Broomfield Crossing gathered at the Stokes' home for our annual Santa Sack Stuffing Party. We signed holiday cards that will be delivered to nursing homes, and stuffed sacks with candy and gift cards for distribution in the next couple of weeks.
We did a toast to our good friend and fellow Rotarian Larry Hendershot, who passed away November 18th after dealing with Parkinson's and Lewy Body Dementia for the past several years. Larry and his wife Norah were involved in the planning and implementation of our Santa Visit Program for many years. Larry will be greatly missed.
