Emerald Elementary Citizen of the Month
On Friday, October 31st members of the Rotary Club of Broomfield Crossing attended the Halloween assembly at Emerald Elementary School where 3rd grade student Jacob Thomas was presented with a Citizen of the Month certificate and a $25 Barn...es and Noble Gift Card by Rotary Club president Gary McKee. It was awesome to see the energy and the costumes of the students. What was even more special was that Jacob was selected by his fellow students and not the teachers, as putting service above self … to be selected by your peers is truly a special award.
